Just about an hour ago, we stepped of our 24 hour train (direct from the 6.5 hour bus) outside of Mumbai. We downed some spicy daal and a Kingfisher to maintain our energy, and soon we'll be on our way to the home of a new friend we are staying with. I read Shantaram on the train ride, and it was sureally awesome to be reading about the city I was en route to. I'm very excited to be back here for the next 2-ish days. Late sunday/early monday, we fly out to Paris and we'll have to bid fermelenghie to this great country.
